Teen girls deserve a space where they can feel strong, confident, and capable — and that’s exactly what we’re building.

We’re excited to launch Girls Strong Teens, an 8-week training program built specifically for girls aged 13–17. This class focuses on the fundamentals of movement, strength training, and body awareness — all in a supportive, coach-led environment.

Why now? Because we’ve seen it too many times: teen girls feeling unsure of themselves in fitness spaces, being told to “do cardio” instead of learning how to lift, or simply not knowing where to start. We’re here to change that.

Our goal is simple: teach proper movement, build foundational strength, and help young women feel more confident in their bodies. Every class is coached by certified trainers who prioritize safety, education, and fun. We’ll break down the basics — squats, deadlifts, pressing, pulling — and make sure every teen knows how to train smart and move well.

Whether your teen is an athlete looking for an edge, or just wants to feel stronger and more confident, Girls Strong Teens is a great fit. It’s also a solid cross-training option for soccer, volleyball, dance, and other sports where strength and movement quality make a huge difference.

We’re not just lifting weights — we’re building confidence, grit, and independence. And we’re doing it together.

Details:

  • 📍 Location: Beach City Fitness — 4145 Skaha Lake Road, Penticton (inside Barefoot Beach Resort)
  • 🅿️ Park across the highway in the Barefoot Beach Resort lot
  • 🗓️ Starts Monday, May 5th at 4pm
  • 🕒 Runs every Monday for 8 weeks

Spectators are allowed on the second-floor balcony — but we encourage parents to hit the beach or the KVR trail while your teen trains.

All they need: workout clothes, a water bottle, and flat shoes if possible (Vans or Converse work great — runners are okay too).

We can’t wait to kick this off. If your teen is ready to build strength and confidence for life, this is the place to start.
